The headquarter of the Ifakara Health Institute (IHI), located next to Saint Francis Hospital in Ifakara town.

Dar es Salaam office
The Dar es Salaam office is the main coordination office of IHI.
It is located in Mikocheni area on Kiko street.
Bagamoyo Research and Training Centre
Bagamoyo Research and Training Unit was established as an extension of Ifakara Health Institute (IHI) in 2005.
The BRTU is dedicated to promoting effective solutions to important public health issues through research, training and service support for community development.
BRTU has distinguished itself in a short time period as a leading clinical trial site and has made a significant positive impact on the community through the improvements it has brought to the Bagamoyo District Hospital (BDH) and the peripheral health facilities in the vicinity of the hospital.
Rufiji Health Demographic Surveillance System (RHDSS)
This site hosts the RH-DSS which is implemented in 31 villages in Rufiji district. The system is being used to provide information on the population, rates of fertility and mortality in a rural setting enabling health, social and other development planners to optimise the use of scarce resources.
Kigoma Health Demographic Surveillance System (KHDSS)
This site hosts the KH-DSS which is implemented in Kigoma region. The system is being used to provide information on the population, rates of fertility and mortality in a rural setting enabling health, social and other development planners to optimise the use of scarce resources.
